Public Speaking Tip #3: Public Speaking Superheroes Are Often Cornered

Mammoth (2006)Many people who become successful at public speaking got into it quite by accident, with no intention to be a public speaker at all. In fact, I thought I was a horrible public speaker when my public speaking teacher in high school asked me to join the Speech Team. I earned block in speech my senior year.

What does this have to do with the science fiction movie Mammoth? Well this little B-movie has an amazing quote that I share with you in this week’s public speaking tip video.
 

 
So, just because you haven’t given a presentation before, doesn’t mean you can’t. And, just because you failed your first, second or even third time, doesn’t mean you can’t use public speaking successfully in your life or business.
