Length: 11 minutes, 56 seconds
Maria Aselage suggests that your presentation’s main message is tied to who is in your audience. In that way, “you can make sure that you develop that message in a way that will hit home for them.” In this episode, she shares her tips on how to get to know your audience and develop a strong point for your speech.
Maria Aselage’s Big Tip: “I think that having that strong point is just vital,” says Aselage. You need to come up with one sentence that sums up the point of your presentation. “What’s the theme of this presentation? What’s the main point? What’s the one thing I want them to walk away with? Because once you have that, then you can start intertwining that main point throughout the presentation and keep going back to it.”
