As a musician, Brian Basilico learned how to read an audience from the stage so that he could perform the music the audience would respond to. He has applied this skill to his speaking and in this episode shares advice on how you can better read an audience.
Brian Basilico’s Big Tip: “You’ve really got to learn to read the audience,” says Brian. “You really have to have a sense of who your audience is, and talk to them in a way that makes them feel like you are not selling them, that you are educating them and giving something of value to them throughout this process.”
