Speaking from your core

If you aren’t being authentic when you’re on stage, your message won’t get across and you’ll lose your audience.

Many of the featured speakers I interviewed for Public Speaking Super Powers said that authenticity was one of the top keys for success in speaking. Not speaking from your core … not being authentic … will cause the audience to lose respect for you and your message.

The above video was excerpted from two 45-minute workshops I facilitated for a group of teens and young adults. I am available to speak to your group, both in-person and virtually, on a variety of topics. For more information, visit www.carmaspence.com/speaker.
