Podcast Highlights
Length: 15 minutes, 6 seconds
Sharmen Lane learned at a young age to be fearless. This has helped her in her career and her life. She loves to inspire people to find their passions, follow their passion, create a plan to make that passion a part of their day to day lives. In this episode, she talks about how to break through fear and be an inspiring speaker.
Sharmen Lane’s Big Tip: “Find your own passion,” Sharmen says, “and then speak to others about it. Because passion cannot be faked.” And if you are anxious about presenting your ideas to an audience, prepare and practice. “For me, success in public speaking was always about preparation. It’s not flying off the cuff or going from the hip because little things can happen. You can get mixed up. You can lose your track of thought when you just go random.”
