This episode of the Public Speaking Super Powers Podcast features Carma’s interview with Robert Arnoff, founder of Arnoff and Associates, Inc., one of the most distinguished employee benefits consulting firms in the US.

Podcast Highlights

Length: 5 minutes, 28 seconds

“Like most professional speakers,” Arnoff says, “I started speaking for free. First locally, and then on a regional basis, and then on a national stage.” Eventually, after his book, The Three Rs of Employee Benefits: Recruiting, Retention, Rewards, came out, he worked toward being a professional speaker.

To become an innovative speaker, Arnoff suggests examining what your own “super powers” are and work on thinking outside the box. “What unique knowledge can you share that no one else knows?”

Arnoff’s Big Tip: Look at, “What does the public that you’re addressing really need?”
