Know Your Audience, Part 4 – Researching Your Audience

Know Your Audience Part 4

In this video, I talk about how to find out information about your audience so you can tailor your presentation appropriate.

Some ways to research an audience include:

  • Scan publications your audience reads
  • Contact insiders
  • Internet research
  • Talk to other speakers who’ve spoken to this audience
  • Talk with the “locals”

Would you like me to speak at your meeting or event? I am available to speak to your group, both in-person and virtually, on a variety of topics. For more information, visit www.carmaspence.com/speaker.
