Podcast Highlights
Length: 15 minutes, 49 seconds
Billy got a rocky, albeit enthusiastic, start in speaking. But he soon learned that being willing to speak about anything was not a good idea. He strongly believes that to be a good speaker you not only have to have a passion for your topic but an emphasis on being of service, as well.
Billy’s Big Tip: “And one day, someone gave me some great advice. And he basically said, ‘I wouldn’t hire you.’ After looking at all my wonderful materials that I thought I had. Jist of that conversation came down to this: He said, ‘Billy, get your expertise down. Find out where your passion is. And throw everything else away.'”
